After The Secret Scout & The Athletic revealed that 19-year-old American midfielder Adeteye Gbadehan was training at Southampton earlier this week, the player is now expected to sign for Saints.
Adeteye started for Southampton yesterday in a behind closed doors friendly against Brighton and played 75 minutes. Sources suggest the club was impressed by the youngster.
There are many offers on the table for Gbadehan from Premier League & Major League Soccer clubs, but the player feels Southampton’s pathway could suit him just right.
